Our 100% organic cotton denim shorts have been created to feel authentically lived-in, Their softness, subtly distressed finish and frayed hems give them the feel of a favourite pair of shorts that have travelled the world with you and been pulled from your wardrobe year after year. The key to their flattering shape is the cut: mid-rise for comfort, a-line and just a little longer to slim the leg, with a button fly. A wardrobe staple for summer style! If you are between sizes we recommend sizing up.

Also available in washed black.

Our model, Anna, is a UK size 8, 5'7 and wears a size 10.

I wasn’t sure whether the shorts would suit me, so thought I’d try them. They are so comfortable and the length is really flattering. Love the shape too.

I haven’t worn shorts in years bought these on recommendation and took them to Ibiza and had them on everyday to the beach they are fantastic.I’m a size8 and bought the10 .

So good, I bought them twice!

Believe the good reviews. These are the most comfortable and flattering denim shorts ever - particularly if you're over 50 (like me) and need a bit of tummy support and a slightly longer leg. I'm inbetween a 10 and 12 and ordered both. In the end I kept both pairs: one for a slouching, roomier fit and the other for a smarter look.

Nicest fitting shorts ever

I was hopeful about these shorts based on the previous reviews, and I was right to be hopeful. These really are the most flattering shorts. I often find shorts to be too tight, whereas these are perfect. Size 8/10 normally. The 10 was a good fit. Also lovely soft material and good colour. I now wish they did a white and black version

I received my Alice denim shorts yesterday and wish I’d ordered them earlier. They are so nice. Really well cut and flattering on the leg. Like many other reviewers I sized up and am pleased that I did. Normally a size 10, the 12s are comfy with just the right amount of slouch.
