Eleven Loves is an independent brand that brings joy to everyday wear for women. Our garments are made better: beautifully and sustainably crafted in audited factories, and always with a twist: an uplifting print, clever cut, playful detail or unexpected colour clash that takes them beyond basics to everyday wear made special.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
The brand was originally launched as Love Sweat + Tees in 2017 by Hayley Thomas who, after many years working in high street fashion, took the leap and set up a business which does things differently. The move was spurred on by the diagnosis of her husband with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer and the realisation that life is short and none of us can afford to put our dreams on hold.
Thanks to huge growth driven by the loyal support of our customers, by 2022 Hayley was able to focus on the business full time. She rebranded to "Eleven Loves" to reflect the broadening product range (the "eleven" taken from the day and month of the very first sale on 11/11/2017).
Throwing out the rule book around “different clothes for different seasons”, a “daytime” and “going out” wardrobe, mass production and reams of packaging, Eleven Loves does things differently:
Grown-up, fuss-free, beautifully made clothes that work as perfectly on the school run dressed down with jeans and a biker jacket as they do on a night out dressed up with heels and a blazer. The vast majority of our garments are trans-seasonal so they can be loved and styled throughout the year, giving you maximum cost per wear.
Our prints, from “Crème de la Crème” to “Où est la Discothèque?” are designed to make you smile and put a bounce in your step. Our knits are crafted from a blend that includes luxuriously soft recycled cashmere with an eye-catching stripe or unexpected pop of colour and our clever recycled denim can be worn in different ways depending on your mood.
We create all of our garments from sustainable fabric options (right down to the buttons, trims and our recycled polyester care labels) and we only work with factories that have been carefully audited.
We produce small runs to minimise waste and our garments are delivered in minimal Forestry Stewardship Council certified paper packaging. We also offset the carbon footprint of our workforce through monthly tree planting.
We’ve grown a lot since 2017 and Hayley’s husband Ben has now fully recovered. The brand still supports cancer and NHS charities through ongoing donations and events. Both Hayley and Ben are on hand to offer friendly, personal advice on everything from size and fit to gift wrapping (which we’ll do for you for free, in eco-friendly paper). We're a brand built on love for our products, producers and our amazing customers who keep us going!
