Wear to work women's clothing

Now that the office can be anywhere from our kitchen table to a coffee shop to a corporate office (and that’s just Monday!), we need a wardrobe that works hard whatever the day brings.

Create a capsule

 Detail-orientated

 Suits you

Suiting is having a moment which is good news for your work wardrobe. Wide-legged trousers and blazers have freshened up the traditional two-piece, as have tonal pieces in this season’s favourite earth tones

Consider a co-ord

When the minutes are ticking away in the morning, an instant outfit is a lifesaver. A great suit will always do the job, but if you’re looking for a more feminine take, try a skirt and blouse co-ord. This is an opportunity to go as punchy as you like with pattern or try the fashion insider’s neutral, leopard. And of course, the kicker for co-ords is – for more casual days, you can easily mix and match with tees, knits and jeans for maximum value per wear.

Get comfortable

Let’s face it, when you’re wearing something all day, and sometimes all evening too, comfortable gets extra credit. Luckily, In the right ensemble, stretchy fabrics such as jersey can be polished as well as practical. Try a jersey dress with a belt, blazer and loafers for the office and keep to a tonal colour palette for maximum chic. At this time of year, it’s also worth considering swapping a classic jacket for something cosier: opt for a snug knitted jacket or style your favourite cardigan with a belt.

Desk to dinner

The great thing about a sharp office ensemble is that it can still pack a punch come the evening. Faux leather trousers, a black jacket and a tulle top makes for a classic office outfit with an edge. Just add strappy heels for a dinner outfit to go.

Business casual

For those catch-up-over-coffee days, a simple swap is all that’s needed to relax the whole vibe. A pair of trainers  will give your favourite suit instant casual cool. Or take it a step further and switch your suit’s tailored trousers for jeans or the jacket for an elevated knit.
