Get comfortable
Let’s face it, when you’re wearing something all day, and sometimes all evening too, comfortable gets extra credit. Luckily, In the right ensemble, stretchy fabrics such as jersey can be polished as well as practical. Try a jersey dress with a belt, blazer and loafers for the office and keep to a tonal colour palette for maximum chic. At this time of year, it’s also worth considering swapping a classic jacket for something cosier: opt for a snug knitted jacket or style your favourite cardigan with a belt.
Desk to dinner
The great thing about a sharp office ensemble is that it can still pack a punch come the evening. Faux leather trousers, a black jacket and a tulle top makes for a classic office outfit with an edge. Just add strappy heels for a dinner outfit to go.
